The story of Pluto, miracles of Pranic healing and another Rescue me GA success story
By Kavita A Chhibber
Pluto came in my dream even before he was born. He is the only one of our Sophy’s eight pups that I actually met.
I saw a gray puppy in my dream and when Sophy gave birth, I asked the owners if there was a handsome gray pup.
There was, they said, and the only one, but a close relative was adopting him.
I knew the relatives. They are wonderful and loving people. So I was really happy that he will be in the family and I will get to meet him.
Even before I did, I heard stories of what a patient, intelligent and handsome puppy he was.
There was an older female dog and she kept Pluto in check.
This is one lesson I learnt from Marybeth Rathbun – that it is very essential not to wean puppies too soon and that there must always be another older dog to train the puppy to behave.
I finally met Pluto when he was about five to six months old.
He was larger than both his parents, handsome and sweet but already the owners were beginning to feel that he was not getting the lifestyle he deserved.
They did not have a fenced backyard in their rented home and Pluto was kept indoors for long stretches.
There were also pesky neighbors who did not like dogs, and constantly kept trespassing.
Things came to a head when one of them kicked Pluto and got bitten by him in self defense.
Animal control and police were called by the nasty neighbor. Pluto was taken to the county shelter.
The owners were to pick him up in ten days but their landlord told them Pluto could not return to their home.
They visited him in the shelter and were heart broken to see him looking unwell and drooling.
A healthy, happy pup barely a year old was returned to them suffering from Parvo. The canine parvovirus is a killer. 97 percent of young dogs die when infected. No vet would take Pluto due to the Covid pandemic and being filled to capacity.
This is when when my healers and I stepped in.
Again I frantically called Marybeth for help since she has been doing this for 35 years and knows parvovirus and how to deal with it.
Immediately Marybeth and her partner Adrienne came with medicine and fluids that they administered to Pluto.
Pluto was the first dog we saved from Parvo. We have saved four so far. Marybeth and Adrienne are both pranic healers as well.
Once Pluto recovered Marybeth took him at my request.
He stayed with her for a few weeks, finally living the life a puppy should. Playing, running freely.
And soon he was sent to New Hampshire to Rescue Me GA’s partner rescue.
He enjoyed his first introduction to snow. And everybody loved him.
He was adopted very quickly by a couple here (- I am told constantly how loving people are in the New England states.)
This was yet another dog from our extended family saved and helped by Rescue Me Georgia.
Please donate and share my birthday fundraiser.
They just saved a mother and many puppies and deserve all the help they can.
